| I have become
the EXCLUSIVE American Coach and rental supplier of Phoenix Sports
Start Gate Systems. This addition to my coaching arsenal will allow an
athlete the opportunity to not only get to experience the fully race
ready, human error free, timing machine but fine tune their standing
start. it is no secret that the start to any timed event at any level is
the most important factor ( a loss of nearly 30 seconds can occur and ruin
any previous training .) It is critical that the athlete get moving as
fast and as fluidly as possible to obtain their best time. This start gate
has been modified from original manufacturers standards to current Phoenix
Sports timing standards that qualify for USA Cycling and UCI time
standards. This will also flow seamlessly with the current timing
equipment used at all events, thusly allowing it to be rented for events
all over the US.
I have preliminary intentions of having one "open" event at each Track across the US to act as marketing and advertising. This event will let every one regardless of interest, experience and level have the ability to feel and utilize the start gate machine. While at this event athletes will have the opportunity to utilize the gate with no extra options and limited coaching advice. However, this "open" format will be on public time and allow the athlete as many opportunities as he or she can obtain in the time allotted by the hosting track considering the attendance. Just as each track in every state is different there may arise special circumstance for different tracks but there will be flyers and postings to inform every one of any special circumstances. During personal start gate coaching the athlete will not only be provided with my experience and coaching advice but, there will be options for the athlete to have a video of their starts. This video can be reviewed track side or provided via email or CD in a .wmv format! There will also be a 30 meter stop tape that will then provide the athlete with accurate stop watch start times. These times can be used in training to record progress using various techniques and equipment at the athletes' discretion. This stop tape can also be utilized in the timing of an actual event such as a 500 meter, 1k, 2k, 3k, 4k, Team 4k or Team Sprint with lap times provided all with out human error and all living up to USA Cycling and UCI time standards with official equipment. Ultimately the goal will be to have coaching clients in many states, travel to them on a regular basis while making pre planned loops of the US that every one can follow on Facebook. It is a hope that this will allow any one interested in start gate use the option to contact me on the road while traveling to or thru their state to utilize my passing thru to their benefit. Of course I plan on having direct pre-registered athletes prior to traveling, but day of or additions while already there will always be welcome!
Start Gate Coaching/Utilization* $50 per session per person** Start Video taping $40 (this video can be provided either via email or cd in a .wmv format) Fullly Timed Event (e.g. 1k,2k,3k, 4k etc) $50 per event limited to one event per session (lap times will be provided and saved)**
* All athletes WILL be required to sign Moofassa CTC release from and wear a UCI mandated Helmet at all times. Failure to do either will result in immediate refusal for gate utilization and forfeiture of money. ** Session is defined for one person as two hours not to exceed two and half hours (2-2.5). This is on an individual basis however this may be modified if there are many athletes that can not get adequate time during said time based upon attendance! The final decision rests with Moofassa CTC and its representatives. *** Start Gate training is also available as a team rental or group event rental however, there is no discount for anything. There will also not be any form of barter allotted. **** payment for start gate coaching or events is in the form of cash, debit card, Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express only. no checks of any form will be accepted.
